Found On: Blur (1997)I love Song 2 because it sheds light on the composing process. You can just imagine Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon writing together in a room; Coxon comes up with that guitar riff, Albarn is so excited he goes “woo-hoo!” and they have a song.

Great job on this list and your "best music" writing in general. I got in a discussion with friends last night in which my girl claimed that the mid to late 90s was a weak time for good radio music, and spent today posting tunes on blip (blip.fm/DanGords) proving otherwise. Your blog reminded me of a bunch of good stuff I would otherwise have forgotten.
