1. Alanis Morissette - You Oughta Know

Found On: Jagged Little Pill (1995)

The big hit on the big album of the decade, its rage was as unbridled as its success. Wherever the guy is who inspired such anger, he’s probably still smarting. - RN

The guy who inspired the song was Dave Coulier or Joey Gladstone off of Full House. At least that is what I heard her say in an interview with VH1's best 100 songs of the 90's. I am a big 90's fan and have seen that show at least 5 times. haha

P.S, there's at least a dozen sonic youth songs from the 90's that are better than this.

but yeah, yeah I know, no one is saying you guys are experts...or have taste.

Believe it or not, the guy that inspired this song is the actor who played Joey on the sitcom Full House.

Way to go Alanis Morisette! She’s my number 1 high school crush. I wonder why she is inactive in the music business now. Well, it’s okay. Her songs live forever.

Alanis... not sure if that should be number 1, I would go Teen Spirit. But check out this song i found "I Miss the 90's". real good.

Don't mean to be rude, but I've searched all of the songs in your lists i didn't know and found out that nearly 50% is really lame and boring and uninspired American rock songs. Buy hey, that's just me.

Well dear I am dying to have this large list of songs played by 90s bands, only on your blog Please show it at its extreme level on this blog, if can do. I love everything of that classic time period of 90s, especially music the most.

Smells Like Teen Spirit is the definite number 1 spot. Sorry, it can't be changed.
